Mondays with Merce

Merce Cunningham Studio is offering free webcasts of interviews, performance clips and technique class at the company. Merce Cunningham turns 90 this year, and amazingly, he is still teaching class. This is a fantastic opportunity for artists of all forms to learn from one of the greatest modern dance choreographers of our time. In my opinion, Cunningham is a true master of making art from real life. He also has an incredibly interesting way of interpreting music; never too attached to the music, but always aware of it. Even at 90 years old, he is still innovative, and endlessly creative. Check it out!
